Mrs. Irène Belliveau, 84, widow of François Belliveau, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, and formerly of Belliveau Village, died Monday at the home after a lengthy illness.

Born at Belliveau Village, she was a daughter of the late André and Salomée (Bourque) LeBlanc. Her husband died a few years ago.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Aldérice Bourgeois (Lola) of Belliveau Village, Mrs. Philias Melanson (Catherine) of Memramcook West and Mrs. Gérard Gaudet (Yolande) of St. Joseph; a son, Gérard Belliveau of Belliveau Village; four sisters, Mrs. Carmelita Belliveau, Mrs. Obéline Gaudet and Mrs. George Sharon (Doris), all of Somers, Conn., and Mrs. Armand Gaudet (Andéea) of Waltham, Mass.; four brothers, Antoine of Summerside, P.E.I., Arsène of Quebec, Allain and Normand LeBlanc. both of Belliveau Village; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The body will be at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook, this evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated 7:30 p.m. Thursday from Our Lady of the Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
